Want a custom background? Here's how!

Many people are in search of great custom backgrounds to use, rather than the default backgrounds in settings.

Here's how you can set a custom background:

1. First, make sure your account is activated! If you clicked on the link chess.com sent to the email you registered, your account should be activated. If not, go to Settings --> Account --> Contact Info --> Resend confirmation email and activate your account.

2. If your account is activated, here's how to set a custom background. Go to Settings --> Interface --> (Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page) --> (Click "add custom background," and select any image to become your custom background).

3. Make sure your custom background is less than 2mb! The best resolution for a background is 2048×2048.

And that's it! You can change your custom background anytime, and it's definitely a boost in personalizing the site.
