watch tab, “playing” section sometimes missing

In mobile on iphone i go to the “watch” tab and scroll down to find the section where i can watch live games (through the app, not streams). Sometimes this section is completely missing from the watch tab. About 75% of the time it is present. Is this a bug or a feature?
I just restarted the app and now the “playing now” section appears… but why was it missing before?

It is hit and Miss for me as well. I’m on an iPad

Can someone tell me why this is happening? It’s been like 2 weeks now and I still can’t watch any top players play? The option “Playing now” just isn’t there. Apps updated everything up to date ain’t working.
For some people it’s working. It’s weird and annoying. Soon as I got a subscription mine stopped.

I believe the issue was only impacting apps and maybe only the iOS app. The issue has been fixed
on the app on an ipad, when i go to playing_now and then to the top players tab, it has not been showing the actual top players here (even tho right now I know Sanan Sjugirov is playing , his game is not shown here, it only shows on the playing_now (the prev window but where you cant see, who he is actually playing with)...why is this? this bug has been there for a while, please fix it or help figure out what to do
