Weak internet connection

For the last two days I cannot play live chess anymore. After three moves or so, i get a message 'Internet connection too weak, please retry'.I cannot make a move and lose on time. I play chess on my iPad.

However, my internet connection is fast, a speedtest result is 4471 kbps download and 821 kbps upload.

Do more people experience these problems? My rating is down the drain now, which is no fun.

My suggestions:

a) have nothing else running or downloading (chess.com is hugely CPU intensive).

b) if you can do without the seek graph, disable that (in your Live Chess / Settings)

c) try not displaying 'Friends' and 'Chat' rooms (use the 'Seek Settings', at the bottom of the screen and uncheck those options)

     Could it be that you're using the Safari web browser on the ipad?  The website was designed for Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. 

Sorry, forgot to mention: I am using the iPad app.
