Premove in Live Chess: while it's your opponent's turn and his clock is ticking, if you have premove enabled (see settings), you can make the move you intend to make. The screen will color the from and to squares in red, and just after your opponent moves, your piece will move instantly - if the move is legal under the circumstances. Normally, this is a lousy idea - you can lose your queen this way. But in 1 0 or other Quick chess time controls, it can be a major way to improve your scoring. But, again, watch out.

at first, i played an online game and learned about conditional moves. i thought that in live chess, it was the same thing, but when i clicked it and moved a piece, my opponent went and it moved the piece. it messed me up. how do i use pre-moves?
