What happened to the feature that allowed you to guess moves on other people's games?

chess.com stinks

Yup it does, and they should be asking user, payong or not, what they think about new features. They must get off on corralling intelligent people. But it's terrible for business.

Not every member is going to have the same opinions on features and it's not feasible to accommodate every different request or have everyone like every new feature.

The site does get suggestions and that can influence updates, especially when a lot of members request things. However, the site also has things they want to do, that they feel will grow Chess and provide value to as many members as possible.

I don't agree with that, but I do miss the feature of guessing people's moves and then they would say right or wrong and put up a leaderboard

My question is, why remove features to begin with? Not necessarily this, just… anything, really. I’ve never understood why many companies (including YouTube) just… remove features? Even if they weren’t used a lot, why not just have them there anyway? Even from a business standpoint, it isn’t like it’s saving or making them any money. So, why do companies remove harmless features?
