Do they notify people if the are judged to have used an engine?

If they judge an engine was used the account is closed and they send an email to the address associated with the account with the options available
Hi,
Someone sent me a message saying they reported me for engine use. I don't use engines during games (only afterwards for analysis).
The strange thing is that it wasn't a particularly good game on my part, below average.
Is there a way to contest this?
What is the procedure used by Chess.com to evaluate such reports?
