The OP isn't even in the beta and there isn't any problem since it is a custom game anyway. Beta club isn't for all bugs, but is primarily for bugs found in beta testing.

I had a similar experience a while back. I didn’t even make a move and I was checkmated due to a “custom” set up. It wasn’t asked for or chosen, but I couldn’t do a thing about it. I asked the player “how” but, received no reply. I took another game from them, same thing happened. All I was told is that it wasn’t asked a custom set up. It was glitch pure and simple. Hasn’t happened since, but I read the same from others occasionally. Enjoy the Journey right?
