Why Can't I Log Out?

First time this ever happened.  Click to log out and screen comes back to my home page.  No error message.  So, what's up?

This is the only way to log out in V3

I love it, Bellerophontis.  I've not run into the no-logoff-itis, but this drastic solution is effective and permanent.

Well, John, It just happened now.  It appears Chess.com is doing their uniquely professional job once again and screwed up the code.  I'm selectively deleting some cookies.  We'll see.

Didn't work, but I just closed the tab and it made me log in again.  They will probably have this fixed by tomorrow.  If not, I will let them know in no uncertain terms.

I'm still using the old chesscom, so maybe you all can try to log out by using the old site

it's not very easy to go to the old site because they have hidden it completely, but I'll show you the way

first you have to click on your username (i.e.Bellerophontis)  up on the right corner of the page 

and then you get your profile page where up there is a double arrow insignia and if you hover over that you read "back to the old site' and with some more clicks you are back to the old good chesscom

Still having a problem this morning.

Having similar issues...but I just shut my phone down for a couple of seconds and, I'm out.

 I can't seem to log out either. I also can't get to my contacts in yahoo.   Go to "browser history". Get to the page where you logged in. Sign out from there.                                                                              

I'm having other issues now.  Board size, color and my settings for pieces comes and goes.  I think V3 is starting to rattle.

It seems Chess.com fixed the problem of looping back to your home page when logging out, which is the only problem I had.  Let's hope it stays fixed.
