Sorry I have not responded to you Jimmykay, but I just started playing chess.com two days ago and the app has not yet recognized me as what I am. I play in tournaments and am going to be rated NM in two months. Also, when you asked to find where I couldn't do En Passant, I had no clue how to find where because I am new to this awesome app of chess.com.

Hmm. Your tactics rating actually started at 400 and dropped 19 points. and your Rapid rating also started at 1200, after which you dropped to 819. You lost 3 games, to opponents rated 742, 1060 and 962. Two of which joined in July, which means that they've probably had time to stabilize their rating.

Hmm. NM indeed.

Well Iam2busy check out my most recent game and the skill put into it, then you will regret your words.

I like the "skill". He was up 2 pawns. He abandoned the game and you won, that's why. Not much skill there really. You should have lost.

Actually, If you're really an NM, I would like to play you. It would be an honor.

Iam2busy

If you're the person I found in the USCF database, you are currently unrated! [shock]

Brilliantly sacrificing two pawns for compensation of something that is beyond MY understanding! Your opponent must have left in utter terror, losing the game on time due to unadulterated fear! Here is the game:

Jimmykay

Here is an unfortunate loss where our newest NM loses the queen on move 10. Better luck next time! Do you think your opponent was cheating, or did you just lose the thread of this complex opening line?

Well, I played a game against somebody and I tried to do an En Passant but it would not work. I am very well educated about this move, and am excited for an answer to how can I En Passant. I had similar troubles with castling but now I understand quite well. Just for your knowledge I'm about to receive my first chess title😀

To make an en passant move, simply drag the capturing pawn to its final position. Referring to the game in post #16, on move 33 Black can capture the c-pawn en passant. The b4 pawn ends up getting onto c3, and therefore you can drag the b4 pawn to the c3 square.

Unfortunately you can only perform the en passant on move 33.

Commander_Riker

en passant is avalible to use in all Vote Chess, Team Match. and Tournament Matches. The only exception is if your playing Chess960 ??

Thank you for all these answers and questions and challenges!
But Iam2busy, two pawns to the naked eye are a great loss, but as a 2100 ranked tournament chess player, you should be able to look ahead many moves just like Carlsen who lost his queen in the final game of the same game that would make him the world chess champ for a while. He still won the game!
Also Iam2busy, Nicholas is my first name but Paris is not my last name. I will not tell my last.
I would also enjoy answering the people who challenged me to a game. I generally don't accept challenges from players I am not assigned to play. But, I may accept these challenges sometime. I'll let you know if I have accepted you. Also, when I get my rank, go to "watch" and see if I am playing somebody and maybe comment on the game in the middle of it!
Finally, for Jimmy Kay, when I lost my queen, not only was it to a good purpose but to an equal trade. Sadly, I was not able to initiate the purpose because my opponent resigned. I don't know why exactly, but several good reasons might as well be out of fear, distraction, or noticing my dreadful force-mate!

Well, then, I must apologize. I cannot see as well as you can. Perhaps you could point out the lines? I really can't see anything.

Umm, but your opponent won by resignation? Perhaps you have made a mistake?

960 has the same rules, including en passant - only the starting postion is different

😎EN PASSANT IS ONE THE MOST AWESOME THINGS ABOUT CHESS AND IS THE MOST EXOTIC RULE. THE FACT THAT CHESS.COM DOESN'T HAVE IT IS NOT GOOD. FIND EN PASSANT ON: YOUTUBE OR WIKIPEDIA😎

I HAVE DONE EN PASSANT!!!!!!!! YOU JUST NEVER DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!! BECAUSE U NEVER TRYED TO DO IT DUMB

Iam2busy

Look at all the trolls here. (Including the OP)

PROKOPOWICH

Not to beat a dead horse, but I did an En Passant capture yesterday. My game went from a difficult looking endgame to an easy win. I think the player I played thought he could sneak it by me :-).

Hello, I would like to make it clear that I will not be able to answer your questions for the upcoming week, so savor my words.
Iam2busy, I did not resign, but connections with my device were not working, and the game showed "Auto Abort" and two minutes later, I realized that my device resigned me automatically without me touching it. I was devastated at this unfair loss.
