Why is the opening being used displayed during the match?

Under the 'moves' tab during a game, the opening being used by both players is listed. Doesn't this allow the players to unfairly predict the upcoming sequence of moves? I realize that both players can do that, but it's not very pure. Is there a way to disable this so that I cannot see what my opponents opening strategy is and he/she cannot see mine? Thank you.
