Nah im young but also a law grad. And i know how easily you can interpret legal language. Its the weakness of law i suppose.

Woah i didnt insult the whole staff lol i just think its unfair how alot of ppl have names that clearly named after celebrity but doesnt mean they trying to maliciously impersonate anyone. 

The US crime code states "....with intend to defraud.... or gain unlawful advantages" im doing it purely for satire and just some light hearted banter, unreasonable for anyone to think im actually pretending to be trump. You might as well arrest every actor or comedian

You may have heard about it, the United States had their presidential election yesterday. Donald Trump is a highly politically charged name at the moment. If you tried this again in a year (or even a few weeks) it wouldn't be as political.

The rule, as it is enforced practically, is:

No impersonation of real persons is allowed. If the impersonation is satirical or just for laughs, the more clearly that is made clear (such as by disclaimers on your home page) the more likely you will be able to keep the name/avatar.

In a nutshell that is it.

If a reasonable person seeing your name/avatar and the info on your homepage wouldn't think that you are in fact that "impersonated" figure, then you are safe.

Alright from now on everytime i do a thread on trump or on my profile I will write at the bottom "disclaimer: I'm not actually donald trump guys"  case close right
