I believe that we've expanded the automatic protection against people letting their games time out because they are losing, but one innocent person appears to have been caught by accident. No doubt it will be resolved shortly.

You have left your games without resigning, which forces the other player to wait idly while your clock ticks down.
You didn't read my post bjazz? It even has a picture of a baboon. How could you not read a post with a picture of a baboon?
Why do inconsiderate people (who abandon games without resigning) continue to seek sympathy from the chess.com community when the fair play apparatus bans them? The majority applauds when you get banned for making us sit idle and watch the time run out. It is real simple. Follow the rules of good sportsmanship or get banned. Losing a game isn't the end of the world. Acknowledge your opponent's victory by resigning and move on. Logging off is not acceptable.
Why do inconsiderate people continue to post their self-righteous accusations without reading the other posts in the thread, with pictures of baboons inthem no less?
This fellow has timed out on just one game, which occurred quite some time ago. Another person hasn't had any time-outs in their last 10 live chess games and complained of being indicted by the fair play policy. If I have to answer the phone during a game am I going to be kicked off live chess too?

Sorry about that. You beat me to it.
I took a look at his recent games as well and there's actual resignations in some of the games (when he fell for a fork for example). Then again you could blame him for not resigning when the opponent has 3 queens but that's not quite against the rules.
chess.com sais that i havnt followed the fair play policy on live chess, and i dont know what ive done!
Perhaps chess.com should identify the specific violation to the offender. I saw one player banned, who actually played his losses out to mate. There was no way to tell if he was aborting though. That player was new to the site and I fear we lost a player, who did not know what he did to violate "fair play."
