I might be misremembering this, but I recall a year or so back that when I logged into the Chess.com android app, I noticed that my gold membership benefits didn't carry over from my website subscription. After some searching, I recall reading a post that the app needed a separate subscription made through the Google Play store for membership benefits - i.e., the plan I purchased through the website doesn't carry over to the app. Is this so, or will my benefits from the website also be activated in the app?
Thanks. I would like to resubscribe again but only if my membership benefits apply for both the website and app as off of my PC/Chromebook, the poor performance of the website on my mobile devices (e.g., laggy, stuttering board animations) necessitates app use IMO.
I don't have an Android, but my Gold transfers to the iOS app, so I think it would transfer to Android too. It seems a necessity to have that feature in order to release that app.
