Will Chess.com support Blackberry 10?

Hi, I tried asking here: http://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/will-chesscom-support-blackberry-10?quote_id=12478590&lc=1

But as I haven't got a response thought I'd try in this forum in hopes the moderators might look at it more. Basically trying to figure out if you're going to be supporting BB10 or not. I'll buy premium even if it means support.

Let me know please.

I'd like to know if there's any plans for this too.

This is long overdue, I would like this app to on board the BlackBerry 10 platform without being Android App Sideloading. Having this as a native app would be great.

Using the website for this app on my BlackBerry Z10 is quite bad and it does not navigate properly when playing my games. If Chess.com cares so much about us its members. They would atleast try to give us of other platforms a interest to have it appllied. This is more than about having an app, this is about having chess accessible to everyone.

To be honest there is no app which is on BlackBerry 10 that I think can compare to Chess.com if they put their self in motion to produce a productive app.

That and Blackberry is having a serious resurgence right now.

I had emailed them a while back right before the Z10 was released in the USA and the response almost made it seem like they were surprised Blackberry still existed.  Not looking good my friends.

I too would be happy to pay for premium for someone to fix the Android app to work on BB10! Who's up to it?

I really would like to see a BlackBerry 10 app for chess.com

I work for a company called Limitless Virtual and we specialize in BB 10 development. I would be more than happy to build an app for chess.com if they opened their server api to me.

Mandarin HH. That's a very helpful offer! Have you tried sending this direct to chess com? Is it possible they're concerned about maintaining the app? NB apparently used to be able to side load their android app. I've done this with latest jbar file on my z10 and it looks to load an update before logging in - can't find one and is then stuck. I even (as non developer!) started looking at tools for converting android games for bb10! Any thoughts on way forward?

I think we have a solution (if you are on BB 10). See in "Help& Support"

my post "(Feb'14) An App for Blackberry that works (finally!)"

Please please get this Backberry project on the table.

sorry. http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/news/2358108/blackberry-s-global-market-share-shrinks-to-less-than-one-percent

creating an app costs tens of thousands of dollars. our iphone and android apps barely pay for themselves as-is. :/

I made another interesting post about this issue on CrackBerry to show how we are being treated. If it is that tough, I think you should charge an additional subscription fee to have it maintained. The same way you can create a poll and ask questions. Yes, it is hard to find the funding. But I stopped paying for your service as a Diamond member until you provide an app for my platform. I am not asking for a free app. I am will to pay to get the service even of it mean supporting you as I have already. Contact BlackBerry Dev and find out a way. They might have an awesome solution for you. http://forums.crackberry.com/showthread.php?t=954658
