Will not let me start game on my macbook, but on my phone it is fine

when I try to start a game on my macbook it just says “please wait it is taking longer than usual to connect”. I have tried everything but nothing works (clearing cache, new browser, computer restart/update) and I haven’t been able to play on computer for a couple months now. On my iPhone it works completely find but I would like to play on my computer because there is more options available. If anyone has any ideas please help

Are you using the quick game option? Or going into Play first?
