Ability to disable live chess or redesign popup menu to prevent accidental clicks

Hi, I'm not sure where to put this feature request, but I am a bit concerned about the way left menu is popping up. On hovering the "play" button more detailed menu appears offering "live chess", "daily chess" and all the rest. I'm only interested in daily chess, I never play live chess here, but every now and then I make a wiggly mouse move and I miss-click "daily chess" button and end up with 10 minutes live chess match, because it popped up into "daily chess" options place really quickly once mouse was hovering "live chess" option. It's annoying when it pops up into other menus place, and it's frustrating when you accidentally end up in the wrong place for real. I'm sure it happened to many people not just me. Can UX experts provide a way to change left menu appearance during those hover-popups? There is no such issue while using top-menu, because it lists everything all the time without popping time choices, but I don't fancy top menu.

I second this complaint!  Here's some problems with it:

  1. No way to change default behaviour to Daily Chess over Live Chess
  2. No way to disable Live Chess from Settings.
  3. Too cumbersome to hover over Play, then navigate to the Daily Chess submenu, especially when the submenu is jumping around from dynamically added content.
  4. Live Chess and Daily Chess are two distinct things and for people with entirely different time allotments, maybe put as two different main menu options?

I hope Chess.com isn't looking at page views to promote Live Chess, as I play maybe once a year, but I've accidentally gone to that page hundreds, if not more, times in the course of a year.  Just looking at page views would give a skewed view of its popularity.  Looking at total number of completed game would be a better, more accurate indicator of popularity.
