ABORTING IN CHESS LIVE

After each game, you are given an option of either clicking on NEW GAME or play the same person you just got done playing - REMATCH BUTTON. 

I click on NEW GAME and it immediately gives me the same person I was playing.  I abort and click NEW GAME because I don't want to play another game with the same player - I want a NEW GAME.  That's why I click on NEW GAME.  Then it gives me the SAME PLAYER AGAIN and warns me not to abort.

Folks, if clicking on NEW GAME won't give you a new game, why have the stupid button there in the first place?  Very annoying.

hmm this has happened to me and i understand what you are saying, maybe wait a minute then challenge. It might work

Ya, waiting a bit might work.  Or maybe I am taking chess too seriously.  Even stupid buttons are getting me ticked.

hmmmmm where have I heard this before....  seems as if chess.com just pretends to listen to suggestions but goes their own way regardless.

Ya.  Its frustrating, Mike.  If there are not truly two options, then they shouldn't pretend like there is.  They ask you, "Do you want to play a different, New Game?"  and I say "YES".   Then I click on New Game and they send me back to rematching the same player again.  When I abort and click on NEW GAME, then they send me a warning to not abort. 

 Pretty lame stuff.

Hi! NEW GAME button should normally match you with a new opponent unless there is nobody ready to play the same time control. Live Chess will wait a bit before rematching with the same opponent. Are you using Web interface or mobile?

Hi Piotr.  I am using Internet Explorer - I am not playing from a phone.  Thanks for your response.  Its happens to me a lot and 3 days ago I just vented.

Your rating bounds are 1700-2000, so perhaps there is nobody else ready to play a 3|0 game for those 30 seconds and you are rematched.

Sorry, it is 10 seconds. Also, please note we are working on improved matching system that should let you play with opponents closer to your rating and reduce rematches better.
