Why is it that when ever you play somebody rated about how much you are rated or a little bit less, that they always stall, It is annoying and I will wait to get the win if I need to.

Maybe people are just bored with the topic of players stalling.

I wish there was a solution, but with this demand, if one existed, chess.com would do something.

I try not to be rude about it.

I used to get "quietly" annoyed. It seemed people tried to only make the moves in games they were in control of, so they could hurry and bolster their ratings and shove the losses to the back burner as long as possible.

Then it occured to me while playing my, now, never ending simul here at chess.com, I don't always have much free time and so I play the moves in games that are simple to calculate. I try to play with no analysis board. I always have a handful of games though, that I am often losing or am in a drawn position, with an open board and tactics-o-plenty on the horizon, so I hold off until I am most relaxed, no headaches, not on my android phone, etc...it might be a few days...but I don't go on vacation each time is my turn for days at a time.

I am sure I am not the only one with some of these tendencies. It is quite understandable if someone who is overworked and stressed out and they'd rather wait to play when it is tedious and difficult. This game is stressful for some people.

I eventually got over it once I realized that people have needs and we need to be gracious to them. People will exercise their rights, even if their motives aren't as pure as the rest of us would like. All I can suggest is, settle in and practice being patient. It is a prerequisite to learning and playing the highest levels of chess.
