after checking your games your mistake are pretty basic so u can definitely get above 1100.
I may sound harsh and if I do I'm sorry. I'm telling the mistakes u make so u can be aware of them and fix them to slowly improve
#1 your opening theory stops at move ~5 so make sure to have a solid repertoire. For example: in your most recent rapid game, it was a exchange ruy lopez. On move 5, the knight took on e5 forcing you to go queen to d4. Qd4 is pretty well known since it is a critical move in that position but u played nf6. this resulted in you being in a worse position. I recommend playing uncommon openings such as Ne7 then attack the bishop in the ruy lopez game so u dont mess up ur pawn structure.
#2 missing tactics: on move 10 you played Bh6 allowing him to fork u with his pawn. to stop this, keep playing puzzles daily and always ask yourself, "why did my opponent make that move?" why did he move the rook instead of the bringing out his knight? If you asked yourself that, you would have seen that he wanted to push the pawn.
#3 dont trade when down material: even though you were down a full piece, u seemed a little too trade happy. Sometimes you are forced to trade but if you dont have then dont trade. The more pieces you leave on the board when down material, the greater the chances of winning or drawing.
#4 more pawn play: its OK to trade pawns but not all the time. there is a reason why u get 8 pawns instead of 2 in a chess game. make sure to keep your pawns defended. Sometimes a pawn is more important than a piece.
#5 king safety: when your opponent's pieces can get to your king quickly, keep your pieces near your king. If you move them too far away, it would take too much time to bring them back when you are attacked.
#6 make plans: if u are losing, keep making plans to improve your position. You dont know if your opponent will blunder or not, but if u repeat moves or resign, that guarantees your opponent a win
#7 too passive: in your game against andresfelipevelezrua, u moved your pawn to protect an already protected pawn. If ur opponent isnt controlling the center, then control it yourself. there are higher chances of winning if u control the enter and have more space
#8 counting pieces: before trading, count the amount of attackers you have to the amount of defenders your opponent has. if your opponent has more or equal defenders, then coordinate your pieces to allow you to attack. if u move too early, u can lose a piece.
#9 USE TIME! remember you have 30 minutes to play the game for both sides! use all of it, go use some of that time to eat and take a break to clear your thoughts if you need to. if you are playing the game in 15 minutes, then whats the point of playing 30 minutes?
OKAY GUYS I PLAY RAPID, YOU CAN CHECK OUT MY RATING. (Falling like a mountain.) SO DO ANY OF YOU HAVE TIPS ON HOW TO IMPROVE MY RATING?
