Yeah this has happened to me a lot too - my opponent will be on something lik <5 seconds, and i'll have about 20-30, and my counter just goes down, and their's doesn't for some reason.
Could be net connection, maybe? My net isn't too crash hot.
Any Tips To Imrove My Premove Ability?

After losing several live chess games yesterday against much higher rated
opponents in which I had 30-45 seconds left and they had 3-5 seconds left, I am
wondering is there anything I can do such as adjust my computer mouse or
pick up my speed? In fact, I have lost dozens and dozens of live chess games
this way. Do they know something I don't, I know premoves are legal but in
OTB I would win all these games.
Why can't I premove as fast as them, this is a huge time gap that keeps
vanishing?
