Anyone using a WebOS based browser on chess.com?

I'm using an HP Touchpad which uses a WebOS operating system and I have a persistent performance issue with how it works with chess.com - specifically as time goes by the degradation of the performance reaches the point where chess.com stops functioning until I erase the device and reload the operating system fresh from scratch. It seems that chess.com is the only website that triggers this problem on the touchpad. Other websites behave normally even though chess.com stops functioning. The problem clears up when I reboot the device. Clearing cache, clearing cookies, clearing history makes no difference. Is anyone else's using a similar device experiencing this issue? Why would chess.com be the only site where I have this issue?
