Beta Bug: Spectating One's Self

I put my computer into sleep mode and re-opened my browser about 30 minutes later. I try to queue up for a new match, but the site tells me to refresh (all normal here). I refresh and queue up again, but it tells me I can't create a new challenge with the same parameters. I refresh the page again, and it queues me into a game without me pressing any buttons. As it turns out, I was in spectator mode and couldn't respond when my opponent moved, resulting in the abortion of the game. I couldn't find a way to exit spectator mode. Could this have something to do with the refreshing of the page?
