Have logged on two machines and different browsers. Same issue.
More annoyingly, I dropped 50-60 points when I was trying to restart games in rapid succession. The server thought I abandoned games. Anyhow... dont start games if your board has missing pieces and links. you wont be able to play and server will penalize you.

Same here as well. A lot of images including the home page icon don't load. I can't see the board nor the pieces, but I can see the moves being played. Happened to me this week and if it helps the error is a bad request to the server (404).
Use a free VPN. I changed my region to the US and the issue resolved.
Same issue board does not load on live chess (firefox and chrome)... I already contacted chess.com, and I am waiting response.

Chess.com just picked up 2 Nations and gave them 1 problem. Canada and Portugal united against the disappearence of the chessboard! xD
you can use a VPN and load chess.com through it once then you do not need it anymore
