Bombing

I have noticed recently that many players have been "bombing", or intentionally losing rating. Consider the fact that a 668-rated player got 8.5 out of 9 in a lightning tournament. Bombers have already cost me at least 5 tournament games. How should I handle this?

you do realize that you have resigned dozens of games in under 5 moves with no clear bad position.  why waste time with such nonsense?  just play to have fun ratings mean nothing
