If you play bullet, you have to be sure in the opening, for example 9 out of 10 games as white I play the same opening and I know it as well, that I can make the first 9-10 move in 5-7 seconds.
And it's much important to be fast and current in 1m+2s because if you don't waste your time in the opening, you'll be able to play the middlegame with more time... But the most important thing is the easiest, practice. :)
