Did you cop a plea?

Avatar of RonaldJosephCote

No, I pleaded "no low contender". happy

Yes, only high contenders are worth anything.

Well reporting somebody for wasting time is like being a tattle tail in class. A lot of people don't like to think about what the report could cause. An account closure. What if it ruins the enjoyment of chess for that person. What if they were depressed and it made them feel worse. You never know so that's why you should always think before reporting somebody. How will it effect them? Is it worth it? In this case.. "Do I want them banned for wasting 6 minutes of my day?" Like cmon.

Technically speaking, chess is a total waste of time anyhow, so the person wasted someone's time that otherwise would be more actively used to waste time.

Another question: what person digs up a long dead topic just to add nothing?

Just report

Just stop. Stop adding more posts to a worthless old thread. Let it die once again.

What what?

Why are you doing this? You go to a topic, read nothing, and just slam a nonsense question. You do this all the time.

Avatar of BlunderrDemon

yeah, I guess

but there is a very small chance that they will be punished

Avatar of I_am_Legend

Though it is rude and much better sportsmanship to just resign, I don't believe it is punishable.

This is the most common problem all of us face. The computer after allowing a grace wait time of maximum ten minutes, should automatically abort the game and provide winning score . Have faced this problem quite a number times. Once i had to just watch the opponent's clock ticking for 17 minutes. The opponent has left the chess board, and at the end of 17 minutes the computer declared i am the winner. This is too disgusting. A maximum time of 10 minutes per move to be allotted by the software, at the end of 10 minutes, game to be aborted and the credits to be passed on. No situation in the chess board, has a complexity to be solved beyond 10 mins. I request the management to have a serious look into this matter immediately.
