Can't select color for a challenge

This option was removed.

The current system assigns a colour based on the colour you had in your last game, and the colour of your opponent in his previous game.

what do i do to select the colour i prefer to play?

it could be because the question  can be answered in few posts so it doesn't end up in big long ones. ( I should know I have many of my forums like that)

this decision to stop the option to choose colours surely doesnt seem to be in  the interest of all members. anyway, what choice do we have to reverse this?

You can only choose your colour in an Unrated game: in rated games, the system determines your colour based on your past history and your opponent's past history. If you feel like you're always getting one colour, check your statistical history and you'll see that it's almost certainly some sort of perceptual bias.
