I'm talking about online chess. This site uses some weird hybrid version of them that makes even less sense than either alone.

You're not reading my posts (that's not how I said forced draws would work) and you're being argumentative. Not a very interesting discussion to be a part of.

I know you said only if engines could determine there was no win, but then where do you draw the line? What if there's a forced win in 17? Humans playing shouldn't have games decided based on the analysis of engines.

I asked about a more FIDE accurate implementation and it has been discussed, however, it it happens it won't be for a while.
