That's for watching games, for example if you're watching Titled Tuesday, it can show you who's winning (according to the engine).
It obviously doesn't apply to your own games.

Ok, so presumably it is automatically shut off for one's own live games. Is this correct?

Can somebody explain to me what the Engine Evaluation toggle switch in the Live Chess settings is for? Obviously engine use during a game is prohibited. So, I am confused by this switch.
