Let me add that this is not the first time something like this has happened, i.e., not just a one-time thing. A few days ago I was playing black in a 5 minute game and the game started off with me not having a queen bishop on c8. Instead, my queen bishop showed up on the board at f1, where white's king bishop should be. Apparently my opponents screen must have been fine, he played his king bishop out just fine, but I couldn't move my queen bishop, either from f1 or c8. The program just didn't recognize that I had a bishop on either location. I effectively was playing a piece down and just resigned the game fairly quickly.

I finished a 5-minute game earlier today where I (playing black) had a bishop at e6, and my opponent played Bb5 (according to the board). After another move or two, he played Bxe6??? How could that happen? It turns out that was pretty much the defining moment of the game, and white won easily. When I went back and examined the game score, the white bishop went to g4, not b5 as was shown on my screen. Can this problem be fixed?
