i dont know about you, but for me, playing too much bullet can be detrimental to my blitz, or even classical chess.

yes thanks for the advice. I have to play with control. Because sometimes bullet practice helps you win blitz endgames!
lol, you should see my bullet games, im terrible (i use trackpad).
its basically me playing bad moves from move 1 to try and flag my opponents.
anyways, good luck! ![]()
I play bullet using my cellphone however I occasionally make mistakes because my thumb is too big 😂😂. Yes certain people who are GM believe that bullet is bad for your chess level... because you are just watching the clock
Keep playing bullet as long as you enjoy it. Maybe occasionally try something a little slower for variety?
@spins... who says you have to watch the clock in bullet? in fact NOT watching the clock lets your focus stay where it needs to be, on the opponent king.
That was figuratively speaking @because_checkmate
I love bullet/blitz/rapid BECAUSE of the mistakes: slower games are kind of a confort zone And its funnier to find a reaction after a blunder with time ticking on your neck, or try a odd move when your opponent doesnt have enought time to find the correct answer... I think all this elements leads to more interesting games ...finally there are lots of chess legends who are fast players from Morphy to Kasparov and Karlsen and some even get annoyed when playing slower players.. anyway my points are: time control is part of the game and NO it doesnt get your chess poorer as long as you analyse your games and try to figger where you get wrong or where you can get better!
Today is my personal best Bullet Rating! Is it bad if I just play bullet games?
