How does the blitz rating on this server compare to afk rating?

I have noticed that my blitz rating on this site have stabilized way higher than what my usual rating is. Hopefully and maybe this is a sign that I am improving. However when I have looked at some of my opponent's profiles they usually have a lower official ELO-rating compared to their chess.com blitz rating.
Has anyone else experienced their blitz-rating increasing a lot recently? Then it would maybe a structural occurance for everyone playing rated blitz.
