How to get information about server shutdown?

On Saturday there was a server shutdown at 10:30 PDT (instead of the announced time between 1:00 and 3:00 PDT).

Many live team matches were aborted, e.g. the round 4 Rapid matches in Chess.com's Clubs League, which were scheduled to start at 10:00 PDT.

As the players tried to join their matches from 9:00 PDT on, those matches weren't available anymore. None of the participating admins and players could understand this or find an information, what's going in. The banner about the shutdown appeared only at 9:50 PDT.

No doubt, that server shutdowns are necessary ..., but it would be helpful to know how the planned shutdowns can be checked in advance, wouldn't it?

For an individual game the actual situation might fit, for managing team events, the delay looks to be too short ...

If I understand correctly, this was not a planned shutdown - they try to avoid shutdowns at peak times.

@StefaniaStella: I'm not talking a tournament (simply because I wasn't involved in a tournament at this moment). I'm talking about douzens of team matches, which were ready for registration and aborted by Chess.com without any information. Hundreds of players couldn't be informed, what's going in for 50 minutes ...

AIUI, some matches in the Live Chess World League were impacted too.

some teams did re-schedule for an hour later, but of course, the second shut down impacted on those too...

Don't think you can get information on the time of server shutdown it will just warn you when it's coming I think chess. com should make a timetable unless it is not scheduled
