I got disconnected and lost the game

Hi!

I got disconnected although I had no Internet connection problems. I could even open a new tab and opened some websites and had no probs as well.

Opponent had much less time and I would never lose that game. Could a mod please, at least, set my points to the level before that game?

Can you please provide more information on how you were disconnected, what you saw in Live Chess client and so on? Thank you!

A pop up opened and I was unable to move. It said something like: 

"Connection lost, trying to reconnect"

After 4-5 minutes, I saw the opening page which I see everytime I log in. When I checked my last games, I saw that I lost the game.

As you can see, I would have never lost the game by being a Queen ahead and having 2 minutes more than the opponent...

This just happened to me right right now. I lost connection for less than 3 minutes (I timed it) and when I came back, it said I had resigned. The game looked favorable for me too. :(

seems like no one cares... my posting was 4 weeks ago and after the first message from a mod the topic died.

If you experience many connection interrupted issues, please consider switching to plain connection by opening http://www.chess.com/websocket-off.php and reloading http://live.chess.com/live (the setting is permanent and stored per browser). Return to modern connection by opening http://www.chess.com/websocket-on.php and reloading http://live.chess.com/live.

This has happened a few times to me but only when I had started to win.

I have a weird experience, when I right-click on my name or others to open the link on new tab, I always directed to the wrong link as image below:


I don't know who is undefined. Would you like investigate this case and consider to close his account. He has "hack" me by directing my link to his address. Help me please..Thanks.

No worries, it looks like an issue in the browser. No hacking. Which browser/OS is it?

I used Mozilla Firefox 28.0 and Win XP. When I try "right-click by my mouse" on my ID to open it in new tab (http://www.chess.com/members/view/Ronald_Aprianto), "#games" always added automatically in the last part of the link and the link change to (http://www.chess.com/members/view/Ronald_Aprianto#games), then I have directed automatically to weird ID (undefined). undefine was an account.
