I lose on time too much. (Lag or connectivity or site issues)

Why can they fix lag?

Why doesn't chess.com definitively describe what this problem is.

I've been here for years and it still exists.

If lag is always going to be here,  Just say that!

I do all that chess.com recommends to limit lag but it always remains.

My lag grows or shrinks every 15 minutes.

Can someone who REALLY understands this complicated issue explain lag?

Lag really doesn’t exist on billychess, and it’s free and has everything lag.com offers, only twice as fast. No point in explaining lag.

How do I get to billychess?

Searching billychess takes me to some strange sites.

Again

A concise definition of lag and solutions would be interesting.

.

Explanations help thinking and mental blocks.

Human-computer life is queries and answers.

Why does billychess not have lag?  (I smell a rat.)

Sounds like f'n chess, Yes?

Have you tried playing longer games? I've been told that its best to play at least 30 mins per game in order to learn. It could be your internet speed is no good enough for blitz  chess or your own playing speed is not good for blitz.

It seems you only play one-minute games. Try a longer game where a few seconds lag time will be less significant.

30 min games solve lag .

Just an addick of the cheap-thrills of  bullet chess.

The needle tears a hole
The old familiar sting
Try to kill it all away
But I remember everything

Let's blame it on the site.

Ransome01..

I appreciate you taking the time to speak with me.

That means a lot after game 40,000.

I wasn't being sarcastic. haha The site definitely has issues. You can stay connected on other websites but lose connection in Live Chess. It can happen even while spectating a game. Live chess is unstable.

I think chess.com likes the lag!

It gives stupid players like us all reasons to come back.

Lag is either uncorrectable or done for purpose

I certainly don’t doubt what you say about your experience, but I’ve honestly a very different and positive experience since years on Lichess.

Maybe, it serves me well! Haha.

I've had similar experiences. I have played 1 0 bullet for many years and have a pretty good feel for time. Occasionally, there will be patches during a day where, although my game style doesn't change, I suddenly start consistently losing on time by 10-15 secs.
