Play a lot of games here, learn from your mistakes and try to figure out where you went wrong when you lose. Do chess puzzles to sharpen your tactics.
In our game, you neglected the center, and attacked before you had your king off the center of the board. You need to fight for the center squares immediately, and get the king castled as soon as possible.
