I don't play a lot of live chess but can't say that I've ever seen it. Then, I normally play the Live tourneys.

I believe there are a group of players that are just playing beginning part of games and then exiting; else they play 10 - 12 moves and if they are not ahead in man-power or position they move on? Is this just my imagination?
