Lag

Help! My lag indicator used to be yellow to green. Now it's always red, and I have to try and checkmate my opponent in fewer than 25 moves. (about the average number I get before I a disconnect)

Does anyone know how to get a better connection to the server?

There seem to be many more players in live chess these days. Normally over 1000. Maybe the servers can't cope with the numbers.

(yes, using mozila firefox. I used to brag to the people who still use IE, but now I can't anymore.

Google Chrome - no disconnects. Ever :)

i get lag all the time and when i make like the first 10 moves in a 1 minute game takes for me about 7 seconds but for my opponent takes none and i always loose sometimes because of lag

I also had this problem when playing with bonus time - it was a nightmare!!

I lag sometimes but i never disconnected!, and i use IE, so u cant really brag to me :D

And the lag doesnt affect me because i always play long and it doesnt last very long.

No Google Chrome on Mac yet. :-(
