Here's the main thread. Lots of complaints. Guess the logic behind the change is that if everyone wants to play a better opponent, the math doesn't work. I'm just the messenger...

Hi I play chess nearly every day and find that the time clock is inconsitant with it's counting . sometimes the clock is delaying my time and othertimes the clock delay`s the opponents time . and even to the extreme of adding time after it was used to my clock or then again to the opponents clock and then use`s my time before I am able to make a move , this doesnt seem to be fair . what is the reason for this time used then adding the time again? and time lag? and time used before I can move my peice?

in the middle of the game i get a note "live chess server error"...and eventhough i had 55seconds...and my oppoonent had 15 seconds....and eventhough it wasnt my fault that livechess has problems with server ( i had perfect connection, and all my websites worked normal)....the livechess software....disabled me to play....and allowed my time to run out...and gave the win to other player.... after so many years...me and my friends are going of this cheating platform...we have noticed it many times...but this time we have recorded it with the camera...because it was a game that if i would win (AND I SHOULD if software wouldnt scam)...i would make highest career record...goodbye scamming livechess software

If there was scheduled maintenance, there would have been a message somewhere but it still could have bounced you out when that happened and likely the game would not have been recorded.
It is also possible that it had an unexpected restart; it's software and occasionally software crashes/restarts.

From more than 25k players...it went down to 260 in few seconds. So this is proof that it is not my connection, but their server. This means this is not my fault...and this means i shouldnt lose the match (not to mention i was seconds away from victory on time). Thanks a lot scamming chess.com. Goodbye forever!
I noticed that the option to set min and max ratings in the open seek was removed, but now I am getting auto-paired with people 100-200 below, and if I even abort 2 non-consecutive games, the option is completely removed. I don't see the logic in this.
