Live Tournament Glitch?

I joined a <1200 live tournament, but when it started, I got redirected to the OPEN tournament. When I checked, the <1200 tournament was not in the tournament list. Could someone tell me what is going on?

It automatically brings you to your category. <1200, 1200-1499 and 1500+. Even if it says open, you'll still be paired up with your rating group.

I believe there was not enough players in <1200 section. That happens sometimes and then the system tries to let you play in OPEN. Of course, you can always leave the tournament (possible when the first game is over) if you don't want to play the whole tournament.

We have <1200, 1200-1500, 1500+ and OPEN ones.

Does it only show the tournaments I can participate in? I don't see the 1200-1500 tournaments. I am a 1145-rated player BTW
