Message To People Who Disable Chat

Dear Matthew,
and dear all,
for once I will not give the name,
after reading this discussion, i said Hi to people and GL like this
hi, gl
the reaction was : he disabled the chat after move 2.
I resigned before move 3 not willing to play this peasant ..., who cares about points on chess.com anyway.

I like the chat. I got beat up by a chick, twice! she said she was going to show the games to all her friends on facebook so they could mock me, man you gotta laugh, thats hilarious. :D

We do.
Split personality Kaydo, like Platos chariot of the soul, you have a white horse leading you upwards to virtue and a dark horse pulling you downwards to vice, how long have you been spiraling downwards like this Kaydo?

In response to the OP, I also find people that disable chat to be very lame.
I have also seen many posts about people complaining about those that don't accept or offer rematches. Not only do I find it hilarious that users think we "owe them" another game, but the topic of this thread brings up another point from my perspective.
There are 4 reasons I don't offer a rematch after a game (win, loss, or draw, doesn't matter):
1) I don't have time - Only had time for one game
2) He or she plays garbage - I'm here to practice, not screw around with shinanigans. If you are White and open 1.e3, or you are Black and respond to 1.e4 with 1...h5, or 1...g6, 2...e6, 3...d6, 4...c6, 5...a6, etc, you can forget a rematch!
3) I simply want to play someone else or someone else picked up my "New 5-minute" game before the rematch was offered to me
4) YOU DISABLE CHAT FROM THE START! - NO REMATCH TO YOU - NO IFS, ANDS, OR BUTS!

@ThrillerFan what's your problem with disabling the chat? Given all the trolls and spammers on here, it makes sense why people do that

Saying 'good game' or even 'thanks for the game' is not being unsophisticated, it is being polite. Politeness? You know, the thing that went out of fashion when ego took over. If you are so hung up why not just disable playing?

@MasterMatthew52 Thank you for being a believer in humanity. not alot of people out there in the world today would want to know anything about another human being they randomly meet anywhere, even if they're meeting the fellow's brains directly on a live board on chess.com.

I disable chat, because of people like "thrillerfan" ! he he
And I'm not lame either...... ha!
There are rude people that curse and spit, if they could, at ya'...I don't want to have to tell someone off, so I disable the chat!!!!!
They don't take losin' very well!!!

I disable chat because I'm usually playing on a mobile and it's a separate screen. It's too much hassle due to it takes me away from the board.

They also don´t take winning well, you can also get insulted after losing.

Do people not realise that the whole point is to enjoy the beauty of the game. Winning and losing is an ego thing which is of a lower order of spiritual awareness.
I lose lots of games and as long as I have not done something completely stupid I still enjoy the games and congratulate the winner.
oh ....so funny!!!
