This is my real game against crafty!

I have played every time 5.Nc3 but when i saw kasparov,s games that sometimes he played (5.Nxc6) i said lets try this against crafty but i wondered what crafty did!!!!!

now who think 5.Nxc6 is better that 5.Nc3?

i think 5.Nxc6 hold opponent,s attack chances but draw result will be more with 5.Nxc6.

crafty seems buggy for sure.  I have seen it do some really strange things, but I am not good enough to say when it is being a genius and when it is being stupid.  Here, drawing the game by force this early seems like the best choice BUT it should have seen the draw before the bishop sac and not made that move, which I say is a mistake.

As for YOU, bishop takes pawn, not rook, you lost a chance to develop for free, any reason there?

Did u play a computer in this match? bcoz only they draw in these stupid positions.

crafty is a chess engine for a computer.  You can internet search on it, I do not like to put links in posts.

I don't see where it leads to anything immediately, but crafty might have tried 11... Qxe4. I'm surprised a program would decide to force a draw rather than gobble up a pawn.

Qxe4 just help me to develop my pieces here:

good point on bishop takes, doh.

The computer was right to draw it.  Look at white there, black's pawns are trashed and it is down a piece with a poorish white bishop.  The issue is not the draw, its getting itself into that mess to begin with --- it made a computational error somewhere.
