I was asked to resign when two bishops down early on in a game, This did annoy me, so I concentrated more and beat the guy. Sometimes you learn more when your back is against the wall I told him, then I got blocked lol

what do you mean you were 'asked to resign?' did your opponent send you a dm? how were you 'asked?'

in chat lol

let me get this straight. you are claiming that someone asked you to resign in chat?

What about the opposite situation? Person refuses draw in completely drawn endgame

very annoying. It is understandable in short time formats, one person has 10 secs while the other has like 1 min, since flagging is very possible. It is kind of stupid when it is a rapid game, both sides have like 3 min, and we have to wait for the 50-move rule to occur. For example, in a deadlocked position where all the pawns are pushed together and by no series of legal moves can either side break through

some people continue to play on, hoping their opp will disconnect or flag.

also annoying, but not inherently insulting

tbf sometimes I find it quite funny because it means they can't see what is clearly a draw – I chuckle when we innevitably draw several minutes later, imagining them sitting there and realising why I offered it

Why is this so common place here? Is everyone on this site an A-hole? If somebody did that in a face-to-face game I'd shove their king down their throat

I believe I did something similar yesterday when I went to your mom's house to check on her

Why get upset or distracted by a draw offer?  Just ignore it, and make your move.  There is no need to decline the offer -- making your next move will automatically decline the offer.  And if the opponent makes repeated draw offers, trying to bother you, ignore that too.  You can safely ignore that drama, and let the opponent distract themselves as much as they want.
