Yes please! Piece animation should be an option for bullet games. I waste so much time figuring out what my opponent moved; a split-second piece animation would completely solve this for me. I currently only play bullet on lichess and it is for this reason and this reason alone.

Making this optional would be noncontroversial in that it "levels the playing field" for some people in a purely noncontroversial way (e.g. of controversial - a chess engine checkbox to compensate for my sub-par skill).
Since I'm fairly sure the tech exists
, it should be a no-brainer feature addition if enough people wanted it.
