If I looked at the correct game you had a queen/king which you could mate with.. I think the draw has to have insufficient material for both white and black to draw. If I understand insufficient/draw rule correctly.

Yes, you are exactly right, but I lost on time, which should be a draw on time, because my opponent couldn't have mated me.

I recently played a blitz game where my opponent only had a knight left, and I timed out. Sadly, he/she was given points for winning when it was actually a draw by insufficient mating material. I hope something can be done about this, but if not, oh well, it's just one blitz game. I hope that the server will be modified to detect situations like this.
