question about reconnection

No once u disconnect u lose the game even if ur position is winning. I found that out the hard way not long ago. I will be glad when they fix all the major bugs.

Yep, we are working to make the connection to the Live Chess more stable. Unfortunately when you get disconnected from a game you will automatically lose and forfeit the game. If you are worried about losing rating points from these disconnections you might try playing unrated games for now.

is there a way to get back to an unfinished game after been disconnected on live chess? In Yahoochess, if you disconnected or close the webpage, you could still sign in again and play on. sorry if anyone has already asked this.
