Running in bullet

I'm interested to know your opinions about running in bullet games.

- On the one hand, of course, playing just to win on time is not very elegant.

- On the other hand, I think that, at least in bullet, managing your time is an extremely important part. This is part of the game and the strategy. My experience (I play mostly 1 minute games) showed that your winning chances are higher if you loose your queen than if you need half your times to think about how to save her. Moreover, I think that there is even bigger emphasize on the importance of playing with the time through the pre-move (which allows you to play about 10 moves in one seconds if you make it correctly).

So, my question is the following:

In a 1 minute game, is it fair to run?

YES AND NO, it depends.

Run = decline rematch.

Run your opponent out of time is different. Yes, it is always fair to run your opponent out of time by playing fast. The requirement to play fast is the main idea of speed chess!
