setting correct live chess tournament parameters

Hi 

In live chess i try to create club tournament for our club members, i select rounds as 4 or 5 or more from rounds input box but when some members registered for it say 3 or 4 or more numbers of players then somehow tournament gets cancelled ! . 

Can admins make me clear about how many rounds to select when i can't guarantee how many numbers of players join for the tournament ? so that it doesn't get cancelled. What other things/conditions need to keep in mind about number of rounds and players when creating it so that it doesn't get cancelled 

Well, you can select any no. round. Skip the minimum and maximum player box. To start a club tournament, you need at least 4 members. When you will have 10+ players then the tournament will have 5+ round.

previous time i selected any number of rounds(4/5) but it was cancelled even there were 4 players.

I have arranged some tournament with 5/6 rounds, and those have finished in 2/3 rounds. There were 4-5 players.
