At least in Mexico, ciao is never used, adios is much much much more common.

In the Spanish you have "buen juego / buena partida?" with a question mark as if not sure of the translation. I can confirm that BOTH of those are correct and are said during chess matches. The first one "buen juego" is "good game". While the second, "buena partida" is "good match".
