If you use Google Chrome as your web browser, there is an extension that you can use! It can be found here;

Make sure your, that your Piece Notation in your setting in Chess.com is set to TEXT! Because if it is set to FIGURINE, it won’t say the piece you are moving!

Can someone help with a feature request for move announcements? It makes DGT use much easier. It would be a crucial feature, and Lichess has it. Maybe we should all play there ;-)

can't get the DGT Board to work or voice extension. Why hasn't chess.com fixed this. Do we all have to move over to lichess?

I really hope not tbh. I'm so used to chess.com. For a silly reason like this to move is just sad, but if I can't figure it out how to make this work, I might have to consider.
It seems that the voice extension in Chrome works if you are playing on chess.com/live (the older server), but not if you are playing on chess.com/play (the newer server).
I've been using my DGT board on the /live server and it has been working well.

Does anyone have a link for a plugin that will announce moves and will work on chess.com? Chess.com only has a handful of sound options and I am not enamored with any of them except standard.
There once was PC game called "Power Chess 98." The Female narrator had the most beguiling voice imaginable. Can you fall in love with a voice? Oh, I wish I could get that game to run in some kind of compatibility mode.
